Since 2003, the Umberto Veronesi Foundation has supported scientific research in the oncology field, financing over 2,000 doctors and scientists, and 137 research projects to date; it also promotes health education and proper scientific dissemination. Since 2004, Bolton Group has supported the activities of the Umberto Veronesi Foundation.

With the purpose of preserving and continuing this tradition,  since 2021 we contributed to support some of the most innovative biomedical research projects. In particular in 2021 we supported two studies related to the treatment of lung cancer (monitoring of pulmonary nodules in high-risk smokers) and in 2022 two studies related to the use of emerging treatments such as radiomics and machine learning in Ewing’s sarcoma and osteosarcoma. In 2023 we supported two studies related to the prevention of women’s cancers.
